Excellent!!! A petite little bookshop with a broad selection of both old and new stock, all fairly priced. Assistants are friendly and will help you out, no questions.

Great selection in large independant bookstore. Great recommendations in the front area display.Very impressed with the selection of books on offer and the staff were super helpful too.

Waterstones

193 Kensington High St, Kensington, London W8 6SH, UK – 020 7937 8432

Very well laid out store with extremely helpful staff. I was asked if I needed assistance which is unfortunately too rate and was a nice surprise. The assistance was prompt and professional but they did not have the book I was looking for and I was not asked if I wanted them to order it for me or told what other stores have it in stock. I really wish they had done that. Nevertheless I was impressed with the store.

Fantastic help and advice. Book I thought would be difficult to find was voluntarily found by the male assistant with beard in seconds, great & efficient customer service. I was then met by a delightful lady at the counter who knowingly advised me on another book of interest - delighted with customer support and both purchases, love this store!

South Kensington Books

22 Thurloe St, Kensington, London SW7 2LT, UK – 020 7589 2916

I'm an Italian English literature student and for me it was a dream to visit this amazing indipendent bookshop. It is close to the tube and offers a great selection. Also, most of the books are very cheap. Support local bookshops.

Great independent traditional bookshop which is a pleasure to visit. Even when closed the often changing window displays remind you of the quality of this small shop. Located one minute walk from South Kensington tube station and so also very near the three museums.
