Banks

Al Rayan Bank

77-79 Edgware Rd, London W2 2HZ, UK – 020 7479 1030

Very friendly staff. Nice bank .good halal products.

A good bank.

TSB Bank

68 Baker St, Marylebone, London W1U 7ER, UK – 020 7935 0016

Only two cashier desks and not even a paying in machine so sometimes have to wait a little while and the stuff is ok I would say just average but been to better TSB branches before.

TSB Bank

9 King St, Hammersmith, London W6 9HR, UK – 020 8748 6009

Branches of TSB are very few and far between yet they offer the most comprehensive awards for current accounts and linked savings. Here is one in your doorstep. If you've read it watched the ads give a real person a go from the off.Theres a naive welcome charm about the rotation of the window logos. I like good old fashioned humour.

Came inside 16:00 on saturday and still received help that i need. Good work, friendly, starting the conversation all the time :)

Building Societies

Nationwide

146 Uxbridge Rd, Shepherd's Bush, London W12 8AT, UK – 0800 554 0296

I've moved from this branch. Although conveniently located on the north side of Shepherds Bush Green it has an annoying double entry door that doesn't always work very efficiently and it is easy to collide with people even though you're not supposed to be able to. Watch out if you're struggling with a wet umbrella. Why do these places hardly ever have a bucket to deposit them in. Can get super busy in here with a queue that never seems to move. You can also wait a long time to speak to an advisor.

Great customer service. Very friendly staff. Barely any queuing

Nationwide

189 Kensington High St, Kensington, London W8 6SH, UK – 0800 554 0228

Always helpful :)

We have been using this branch for many years now with no complaints, the staff are efficient, professional, cheerful and always happy to help with any queries.

Yorkshire Building Society

255 Kensington High St, Kensington, London W8 6NA, UK – 020 7602 0006

Local Chambers of Commerce for W8 7AF. These can be an extraordinarily effective way of getting into the business community and / or getting things done. Equally they can be entirely useless depending on the chair. If they have networking events associated with them definitely go, and keep going, if you have a business that need local support. What you put in is exactly what you get out. Below is the national site. Watch this slot - it might improve!
The Old Marylebone Town Hall

Westminster Council House, 97-113 Marylebone Rd, Marylebone, London NW1 5PT, UK – 020 7641 7500

Beautifully restored and now part of London Business School's campus

A stunning, beautifully old piece of English history! Well worth a visit! This was the former head office for Births, Deaths & Marriages in London.

Town Hall

Hornton St, Kensington, London W8 7NX, UK – 020 7361 3000

Good place but the council lacks efficiency

Pretty good as a conference venue, have been here for Astrofest every year for years.

Hammersmith Town Hall

1 Riverside Gardens, Hammersmith, London W6 9LE, UK – 020 8748 3020

Business development and networking.

Local town hall, can get very busy within and in the summer poorly ventilated.

Dental Surgeries

Paddington Dental Practice

17 Craven Rd, Paddington, London W2 3BP, UK – 020 7723 6106

Don't really leave reviews but i just had to this time because credit is due when deserved and the service from Dr Gursharon Dhariwal was 1st class. I'm not a fan of any medical professions because they scare the life out of me but she made me feel so at ease and calm I was so thankful. Thank you again Doc!

I can’t recommend this practice enough. Treatment is world class and staff are very helpful and kind. I no longer dread the dentist!

Bupa Dental Care Chelsea

242-244 Fulham Rd, London SW10 9NA, UK – 020 7376 3330

I found Dr. Brigo to be a god send to deal with a stained tooth. I found the process stress free and the results amazing! Would highly recommend Dr. Brigo for any cosmetic repair work.

Seems to be a reoccurring pattern that Dr. Briggo is absolutely brilliant. I was incredibly embarrassed about the state of my teeth. She calmed my nerves and made me feel so at ease. I do not like the dentist but i felt as though i was in safe hands with this doc. Thank you!

92 Dental

5 Glenthorne Mews, 115a Glenthorne Rd., Hammersmith, London W6 0LJ, UK – 020 8748 1381

My appointment with Dr Ron Baise at 92 Dental was excellent in every way possible. I’m usually very nervous but I trust Ron, because over the years I’ve been going I know that he will only do what is absolutely necessary, that less is more. Taking care of teeth is the priority. He is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable and also very clear when explaining x-rays. I feel safe in his hands. I also saw Ash who’s absolutely brilliant- what a fantastic Hygienist - such attention to detail and got to all the tricky places. Excellent surgery and lovely receptionist. Strongly recommend

First class dentistry! I'm absolutely thrilled and cannot think of a single way to improve the whole service. I came here on a friend's recommendation having lost an upper front tooth and was sad to be facing my first fake tooth. But the result is amazing and I couldn't be happier. I even requested 'non intrusive, no metal' and Ron's immense skill and experience has delivered exactly that. I highly recommend him to anyone in search of world class dentistry.

The Bush Doctors

147 Shepherd's Bush Green, Hammersmith, London W12 8PP, UK – 020 8749 1882

Fantastic doctors who genuinely care about their patients. The reception team are helpful too. Getting appointments is tricky, but that's the standard in surgeries these days.

Great surgery, amazing staff. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Dr Pamini is always thorough.

Same Day Doctor central London

52 Queen Anne St, Marylebone, London W1G 8HL, UK – 020 7631 0090

I find Samedaydoctor to be extremely helpful, flexible, courteous, and of course, professional. Highly recommended to busy people who may have hectic days and need to see a doctor at a time which suits them.

Excellent service Friendly doctors that lisson to you I would recommend this service to every one same day doctor go the extra mile for you 101% service

London Doctors Clinic Private GP

11.10, 20 Eastbourne Terrace, Paddington, London W2 6LG, UK – 020 8712 9378

I arrived around 10 minutes early to the clinic, signed in and told the receptionist my appointment details. I was told to sit down and wait. I was not called for my appointment until 10 minutes after my dedicated time and when I arrived to meet the doctor, it was assumed that I had arrived late as she did not know the reason why I had been called up late and had to rush my appointment. I did not feel entirely welcome because of this delay and was already relatively stressed out related to why I had booked an appointment to see the GP in the first place. The doctor was professional and did all she could to help me and had apologized for the delay. But I think there is some sort of miscommunication between your reception and your doctors. I don't think I will be returning because of this rather uncomfortable experience.

Great service! I only had a few hours in the UK between meetings and managed to get an appointment on the day exactly when I needed it. The consultation was thorough and helpful. Perfect.

NHS Direct is now NHS 24. Just dial 111 to speak to a professional or click the link below for there self help website. Lots of really useful info but keep clear of heart surgery! If in doubt ask your GP or call 111. Good luck.

University College Hospital at Westmoreland Street

16-18 Westmoreland St, Marylebone, London W1G 8PH, UK – 020 3456 7898

My wife had surgery for her kidney stones at Westmorland hospital and I must say staff nurses ( Hannah & student nurse tayin on the 3rd floor ) and doctor Miss Allen & her team was super amazing. Also Susie & Siobhan ( senior nurses ) were great and been so helpful. I would highly recommend this hospital to everyone... so thank very much guys !!! Anil & Amandeep

Excellent medical support and treatment, outstanding hospital cafe food, best salad and best stew I've ever had and really tasty soup too. Only one glich, otherwise 5 star, I'm taking up with the fire service. 14 bin bag size bags of rubbish in the stairwell to the overnight stay bedrooms, on the first floor of 6 floors. Told that the entrance I came in was the only way out. A staff member showed me another way out, but said he wasn't meant to tell me. The manager said he shouldn't have told me!!(it's on the 6th floor! - with no fire exit notice, just a notice telling staff that they must not use this exit!). I look forward to this manager's letter, he promised within a week, after some pressure! He refused to deal with the situation, but anyone staying there, if the rubbish in the stairwell was on fire, the higher up you were, the less chance of survival, not being aware of the top exit. He said he'd speak to the fire officer who does the inspections, refused to give me the F.O's contact number or name, when I asked why, "Because he's a member of the Trust"!!!! Says he won't do anything straight away to resolve the concerns of rubbish in the stairwell (collected 4 x a day evidently), or the exits, until he's spoken to the Fire Officer. (or about confusing information about fire exits(s) or about the fire exit signage (where you follow the signage, on the floor you exit the stairwell, it doesn't show which way to turn in the corridor!). I know the manager was very busy doing year end figures, but really! REFUSING to tell or allow staff to tell where there are three possible exits, at least, rather than just the one where you came in, on the GROUND floor or sub basement!! Two other overnighters were rather relieved to know about the alternative ways out!

Hammersmith Hospital

Du Cane Rd, Shepherd's Bush, London W12 0HS, UK – 020 3313 1000

I have been a patient for over a year now and I can't fault the Staff I have dealt with during my appointments. Mr Murphy is a real kind man and I am very grateful for his care and the compassionate way he s looking after my uncomfortable condition. 5 stars from me

Former Patient at Auchi Dialysis department & now Renal Outpatients. Unbelievable one-to-one care by the nurses & healthcare assistants. A wealth of experience, knowledge and understanding of the complexities of the comprehensive umbrella that is Renal failure and it's after affect and reaction which runs in parallel by the consultants. All other members of staff which complete Hammersmith Hospital were plesent and always keen to assist in any way they could. All of the above is undertaken on a relative shoe-string budget which without doubt has a direct affect on these members of staff. The Trust need to focus their attentions on engaging on key members of staff when identifying areas of the business to improve and other areas to reduce funding. I have witnessed many areas which require attention to improve the efficiency of the business and reducing the lost man-hours. A large push on permanent recruitment needs to be spear-headed from the top of the trust down to the wards and department where they are required the most. This drive would without question, hesitation or restructuring would be an easy route to save money due to reduction on agency workers. The new prospective permanent members of staff would add not just economic value, but more stability and efficiency to the wards and departments which they will be posted at. Well done to everyone involved.

Royal Brompton Hospital

Sydney St, Chelsea, London SW3 6NP, UK – 020 7352 8121

I have been admitted twice for surgery at RBH and each time their service is amazing. Both outpatients and inpatient care delivery are of high standards, the staff and consultants were easy to talk to and responsive to my queries and concerns. Now that my heart is fixed, I might take on the joke of my lovely surgeon, Dr. Michael Rigby, to join the London marathon.🤞🏻Thank you so much to all the staff of Royal Brompton Hospital!

My 3 years old son had sleeping study at this hospital on Monday 12/02/2018. It was my first visit. We received an excellent care by doctors and nurses. Nurse's particaly were amazing and they have done everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much for your amazing work. Well done!

St Marylebone Church

17 Marylebone Rd, Marylebone, London NW1 5LT, UK – 020 7935 7315

A lovely place for peace and constipation. A stark contrast to the noise outside of one of the busiest roads in London.

I was married in this church 28years ago this year by the Rev. RICHARD MCLAREN. It was a beautiful church and our reception was downstairs in the Lemon Tree Restaurant. The entire service was beautiful, the Church was beautiful and Richard was a lovely man who joined us for the reception. It was a very memorable day.

Restaurant Gordon Ramsay

68 Royal Hospital Rd, Chelsea, London SW3 4HP, UK – 020 7352 4441

Absolutely amazing French food adventure. The service was second to none. The waiter, waitress and manager explained the ingredients of every dishes and helped us to have the best experience. They were so friendly, professional and patient to customer. The atmosphere is awesome. The interior decoration is elegant. The price is reasonable. It took us three hours to complete the adventure. Totally worth every penny we paid. Highly recommend.服務非常好,建議點一個classic一個seasonal的菜單然後share,他們會解釋每一個菜的食材和吃法,很有趣。時間很長,很有價值的美食之旅。

My wife and I went to Restaurant Gordon Ramsay for our anniversary and it was a very enjoyable experience. It was our first visit to a 3-Michelin starred restaurant, we both decided to go for the menu Prestige and ordered wines based on recommendations. The food was exceptional and we savoured every dish. The highlight for us were the ravioli of lobster and I also loved the Cotswold lamb dish. The service was very good, waiters and waitress there were very attentive but not in your space. Our meals lasted 4 hours, it cost us quite a bit but I think it was worth the experience.

Maze Restaurant

10-13 Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, London W1K 6JP, UK – 020 7107 0000

We had a fantastic evening at the weekend enjoying the dining experience at the Maze restaurant. We felt like we were in the thick of the action as our dining space was literally in the kitchen. It was amazing seeing all the chefs at work and seeing our beautiful plates of food being put together. The taster menu was delicious. Thank you to all the staff for making it truly memorable meal. Highly recommend xxx

My family always like to discover new and amazing places when going abroad. So when we flew in for a London conference from Canada, we knew we wanted to try Maze. It wasn't just good, it was sublime. The chef's menu was amazing. Our hostess, Anastasija, was cheerful, pleasant, knowledgeable, and made us feel really welcomed at the restaurant. Her positive attitude, the ambient atmosphere, and some of the best food we've eaten in our lifetimes form the memories that may stay with us forever. I definitely recommend Maze for an amazing evening.

Minors Nursery School

10 Pembridge Square, London W2 4ED, UK – 020 7727 7253

A fantastic nursery with brilliant staff who work with care and intuition to ensure each child thrives. My son loves it there.

The girl I look after has attended Minors Nursery School since September 2017 and she loves it. Everyday she is happy to go to school and I can see how comfortable she is with the Minors team. The teachers are very reliable, caring and professional. Often she comes home with her little arts and craft, which are nice and creative. The atmosphere with other parents and nannies is very friendly, too. Would definitely recommend this nursery school, it is fabulous.

I used to be a student there, in 2010-2011 and I've gotta say one of the best moments of my life were at ICS! Miss it a lot...

The best academic and personal training to succeed in a complex world. As an academic and mother of two, I recommend ICS as the best option for international students.

Bousfield Primary School

S Bolton Gardens, Kensington, London SW5 0DJ, UK – 020 7373 6544

This is an excellent school, it provides so many people with help and learning opportunities. I loved my teachers Mr Fox and Mrs Pears for the kind natured teaching skills . I struggled after leaving this school as other schools can't compare or care for my learning. Needs. Barn dances in the hall was one of my favourite times there. Thanks.

This is an amazing school, full of light, green spaces and playgrounds, set in a lovely neighbour. I have 2 kids there and I am so impressed by the way they are tough, and the children are so happy to go to school. Staff is knowledgeable, respectful and kind, the head teacher is clearly doing a great job!

Public & Preparatory Schools

A very carefully thought out environment where children feel safe to develop! Cultivates childrens' abilities. Very good grounds and facilities!

Both my son and my daughter have been very happy there. I am aware of a small number of problems in the 1970's but that is a very long time ago !
